President’s Message

On behalf of Shree Santkrupa Shikshan Sanstha, Ghogaon, I extend warm greetings to you all. It gives me immense pleasure in writing this brief note for all of you.

Shree Santkrupa Shikshan Sanstha was started by hon. Mr. Ashok Bhavake in the year 2004, in this rural & hilly area of Ghogaon with mission “Social Transformation Through Rural Education “.

Students desirous of getting technical & professional education had to travel to far off places like Kolhapur, Pune, and Mumbai which was not financially viable and also was beyond reach of many poor students. To cater to the needs of these students, we planted small seedling in the form of College of Pharmacy in 2004 which has grown into a huge tree by now with Ph D in Pharmacy, M. Pharm., D. Pharm., College of Engineering and Technology in addition to courses like Pre-Primary, Primary and Junior Colleges. Today, the sprawling campus caters to around 1500 students from around the area. More than 300 students are now happily serving the of the health care system nation industry and community service including academia.

India is considered as “Pharmacy of the World”. Increasing demand for quality pharmacy professionals to ever expanding Pharma industry, highly competent & skilled individuals are needed. We at SSCOP, have taken have made it our mission to produce competent & qualified pharmacy professionals to meet the stringent requirements of pharmaceutical Industry.

Within a decade, the College of Pharmacy has become one of the premier pharmacy institutes affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur and has created niche for itself.

We at SSCOP take a pledge to serve the healthcare profession & the nation by delivering human resources which will ensure production of quality medicines at affordable prices.

Our team of dedicated faculty lead by the dynamic leader Dr. Vijayanand Aralelimath is working tirelessly to meet this demand. In the years to come we envision Shree Santkrupa Shikshan Sanstha to be regarded as one of the prestigious educational hub in this part of Maharashtra.
